There are a number of stables in the area where you can go horse riding.  Although we are yet to try it ourselves, we are informed that Lac Lavaud is particularly popular.   Here you can take part in riding activities, beginners’ classes, walks and trekking in Haut-Charente and around the Lavaud and Mas Chaban lakes. There are a number of other centres in the area that you might like to try.
