La Maison Bois Charente is located in the small village of Montemboeuf.  Montemboeuf is a commune in the Charente department in South West France.  It is 34 km from Angoulême, the department capital, 368 km from Paris and 583 km from Calais.

La Maison Bois is within easy reach of a number of airports.  The closest of these is Limoges, which is a 45 minutes drive away.  Alternatively there is Bergerac or Poitiers, both within about an hour, and Bordeaux 1 hour 45 minutes. Alternatively, it is possible to catch the train to Angoulême from Paris, just an easy change to Gare du Montparnasse or Lille.

The house itself is less than 5 minutes walk from the village centre of Montemboeuf, where you will find, plenty of shops including a bakers, butchers, Spar, bank and post office.  For those of you that need it there is also a vets about 5 minutes drive from the village.
