La Maison Bois is a holiday home in Montemboeuf, Charente. It sleeps sleeps up to 8 people + cot in 4 bedrooms (3 double and 1 twin). All the rooms are newly furnished and have quality fixtures and fittings. Taking inspiration from the Penguin Classics, each bedroom is themed to a genre of book; Crime, Drama, Biographies and Fiction. The rooms also have luxury bed linen and towels, which are provided at no extra cost.
Here at La Maison Bois we want to make your travel as easy and as stress free as possible and this is why we try to provide everything the hand luggage only traveller needs! We will also provide a ‘welcome pack’ full of the essentials needed to ensure you don’t need to worry about French supermarket opening times on arrival. There are a number of items to help those of you with children travel more easily, including a pram and highchair.
Description
On the ground floor you will find two ensuite double bedrooms, the living area, with plenty of places to sit, a tv and DVD player (DVDs available) and lots of books. In the living area there is a wood pellet boiler which, along with a heat recovery system heats the whole of the house. There is a well equipped kitchen (including dishwasher, microwave and induction hob.). The open plan living area and kitchen open on to the expansive terrace with its far reaching views to the south and west. There is also a laundry room with a washer/drier, (cleaning products provided) sink and ‘guest’ lavatory.
The large wrap around terrace has a wonderful shaded area to the west, where you will find outdoor seating for 8 and loungers. Here you will also find a BBQ.
